Nigeria beauty queen, Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina, has made history by becoming the first Miss Universe Nigeria to place as a top-two finalist at the Miss Universe pageant.
The 73rd Miss Universe competition, held in Mexico, saw Adetshina finish as the first runner-up to Miss Denmark, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig. This remarkable achievement has earned her the title of Miss Universe Africa and Oceania.
Before her success at Miss Universe Nigeria, Adetshina had previously competed in Miss South Africa. However, due to controversies surrounding her nationality, she withdrew from the competition.
