British soil.
She stands
as a representative of a collective woe; others who hold skilled worker visas
share her experience of arriving in the UK only to discover an absence of
promised job opportunities. Speaking to Sky News, she laments, "There are
so many others. Dozens. I've encountered numerous people here, and even more
are still arriving after I did. There's a pervasive scam underway."

Adekugbe, a visionary behind the Nigerian Community Centre in Rochdale, a
town in England, also voices her concern to the news agent as well. She articulates
the escalating struggles faced by skilled worker visa holders who now require
assistance. Her words carry weight as she denounces the situation as
"shameful," underscoring the severity of this unfolding crisis.
